Canada is incomplete without Alanis

In all editions of TSGP Canada has never been represented by Alanis Morissette yet. In TSGP 27 this omisse comes to an end as she'll perform her lovely song called 'Incomplete'. Isn't that ironic ?

Canada dans le monde

Because France is hosting Canada sents in a song in French once again. This time Marilou Bourdon gives it a try with her sweet song “Ce monde est fait pour nous” (This world is made for us)

UPD: Canada won this 25th TSGP with in both semi and final ranking the first place with the amount of 118 points! As Canada also won TSGP 10 the Classics with Sarah McLachlan singing Angel this is their 2nd victory.

Sarah McLachlan won TSGP-10 “The Classics” back in 2008 (see below for more info). Now she’ll return in TSGP-23 and will perform her song “U want me 2”. In Estonia in a though competition with 35 countries taking part. First goal is to survive the semi’s.

TSGP-22 brought Canada it's worst ranking ever. With no semi to qualify from Delerium and guest singer Isabel Bayrakdarian perfromed the beautiful song "Angelicus" which collected 29 points only reaching 27th place out of 30.

Marie-Mai May be in May

Even after the disappointing results with the ballad "Mille jours" in Moscow at the 18th edition of TSGP Canada still believes in the great singer Marie-Mai. Therefore she's given a 2nd chance. Canada is proud to present Marie-Mai with 'Mentir' (telling lies) as the Mapleleaf-entry for TSGP 21. Once again Marie-Mai may sing in French but this time it's not a ballad at all.

Top Star Grand Prix the Classics 2 will be the 20th TGSP. Remember, the first Classic Edition was actually won by Canada, so there's a big pressure on the Canadian Management to try making it a double.
